Meridian Cooling were contacted by Insanity Arcade, an arcade that provides retro and modern games in Poole, as they were looking for an air conditioning installation.
The arcade is a popular spot for children's birthday parties, friends to meet and families to enjoy a day out. But with the machines generating heat and all the body heat, the space was getting uncomfortably hot during the summer months.
They wanted an air conditioning unit that would efficiently cool the entire space, making it more comfortable for their staff and customers.

We visited the site to assess their needs and the space they had available for the air conditioning unit and ventilation.
Upon our visit, we recognised that the arcade was a warehouse on an industrial estate. This means that the structure has limited architectural ventilation, such as windows, due to the industrial style of the building.
From our site visit, we recommended a unit and set up and arranged an installation date.
On installation day, our team fitted a ceiling air conditioning unit and the required ventilation and outdoor system for an efficient system that uses up as little space as possible.
The Result
The result is a cool arcade where everyone can go and enjoy their favourite games without getting too hot.
In the meantime, the business isn't paying expensive energy bills to maintain the room at a cool temperature as we installed an energy-efficient system.
