Air Con with Heating FAQs

The size of the air conditioning unit needed for heating your home depends on various factors such as the size of your space, insulation quality, ceiling height, and number of windows. Our engineers are happy to conduct a site survey; please do contact us to arrange.

While air conditioning units with heating capabilities can provide warmth during milder winter months, they are generally not recommended as the primary heating source, especially during colder periods. A dedicated central heating system or supplementary heating sources may be needed for adequate warmth.

Yes, we would recommend undertaking a site survey to consider the positioning of the indoor and outdoor units to optimise airflow, please contact us to arrange an air conditioning site survey.

If used in heating and cooling, we recommend two visits per year. One site visit per year should be sufficient when used for cooling only. Please contact us to arrange an maintenance visit.

This can vary depending on the individual requirements, but typically we forecast that this would take between 1-2 days per system.

We aim to have an engineer with you within 24-48 hours, and we always endeavour to fix the issue during this visit if we can. If further works are required, we will provide a quotation and proactively communicate with you to arrange any repairs.
